Male and female, middle to high income, interested in cooking, aged 25-50, living in New Zealand and Australia. Enjoys the company of friends, adventurous, well traveled and enjoys foreign foods and cultures.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

1)Authenticity - a real Creole Seasoning from the heart of Creole/Cajun country being "New Orleans, USA". Creole cooking is a blend of old Spanish, French and American cooking & is a mild spice that enhances food taste.
2) Adds flavour and spice to foods, creating a flavour burst.
3)An ideal substitute for salt & pepper, can be used on everything when cooking or as a table seasoning.
4)Convey the essence of New Orleans style and culture, such as fun, jazz music & authentic Creole foods.

Contemporary design that will convey authentic product origins.

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

Red, yellow, green or black combinations. Has to be three colour print only. Similar mix of colours to logo. Preference is for a green background as the principle colour, like to see some concepts with black background.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?

none specifically

What adjectives should best describe your print design?

bold, not cluttered, contemporary yet conveying authenticity. Colours associated with food, hunger, taste.

How will you use the print design?

Packaging for supermarkets, market style grocers. Sit on shelves cluttered with more established competitor products. Will be the basis for a range of food packaging, such as seafood boils, meat rubs, seasonings.

What content must be included in the print design?

1)Existing Logo: The "Orleanz" logo as attached.
2)A stamp of authenticity such as the "wax stamp/seal" as attached example, that will say "Certified Creole"
3) Copy, bar code & compulsory information for food packaging, as attached in word doc.
