Business Name
Dan Kolbet, novelist
What do you do?
I'm an author who writes thrillers. In my "real life" I'm a corporate spokesperson for a large utility company on the West Coast.
How many pages of print design do you need?
1
List the size requirement(s) for your print design
6 wide x 8 high, but this will also be a thumbnail in ebook stores, so design needs to be recognizable on a very small scale.
Target Audience
What is your industry?
Readers of thriller novels. ebooks and print
Describe the target audience for your print design
Likely men or women with an interest in technology. College educated. Electrical engineers or individuals in the energy/electricity industry.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?
-one man against a large company/institution
-isolation (cut off from society)
-electricity (or lack of)
Here is the book description for a feeling for what "Off The Grid" is about:
Today electricity is delivered wirelessly, a technological revolution that saved the world from a drastic energy shortage. One company has the monopoly to deliver this power through the air, but this stranglehold thrusts thousands of cities and millions of people into an eternal blackout.
Luke Kincaids hometown wasnt the first to be forced off the grid, but when the blackout leads directly to his parents deaths, Luke has just one company and one man to blame. Its time to fight back. Its time to fight StuTech.
So its quite a shock when Luke finds himself at StuTech as a model employee, engaged to the founders daughter and quickly becoming the go-to corporate spy on its behalf. Threatened by a secret that could destroy him and any chance of bringing power to the forgotten millions, Luke sets off to find the true origins of wireless electricity, but discovers so much more.
More than 100 years ago scientist Nikola Tesla envisioned a world without wires, but he never expected this . . .

[Headline title/large] Off The Grid
