Kauffer Performers Resource Center "KPRC"
What do you do?
The Kaufherr Performers Resource Center is every AFTRA/SAG/AEA members audio and video studio and office away from home. Located in the heart of Chicagos River North area, where the Midwests leading ad agencies, recording studios and production houses are centered, the KPRC is a short walk to where most AFTRA/SAG/AEA members pursue their careers. The KPRC has been supporting professional actors in Chicago since 2001, but it is now facing one of the biggest challenges in its existence. We MUST raise at least $40,000 in order to keep the doors open in 2011 and continue to offer union actors from Chicago and across the country access to the unique services, training programs and facilities available at the KPRC all at no cost to members in good standing.
The Kaufherr Performers Resource Center (KPRC) is a prototype full service, multi-purpose resource center available to SAG, AFTRA, AEA, and AGMA members. Its mission is to support Chicago's professional actors in:
* marketing their talent,
*enhancing their skills, and
*support their resolve to make a living at their craft.
It's the resource Chicago's Union Actors can look to for support! Describing the KPRC never does it justice, and first time visitors say it time and time again:
"You gotta see it to believe it!"
