LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Vena Argentum presents Vein of Silver. Through exciting new archaeological evidence as significant as the discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb, the Dead Sea Scrolls, or even the Rosetta Stone, the world finally has a first hand account of the crucifixion of Christ from someone who was actually an eye witness. The four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, each tell the story from the perspective of people who were not there. Now the world has the story of Cornelius Lucius Strabo a young Roman Tribune assigned to Pilate's command just before the crucifixion. Between Strabo's story we hear the behind-the-scene motivations of other key players in the crucifixion: the High Priest of the Jewish Temple, Pontius Pilate, and Judas Iscariot.
Eight 50 minute radio dramas detail the story starting with the Roman march two weeks before Passover, through the gut wrenching crucifixion, and beyond.
The story comes to us from the book series Vein of Silver which will ultimately trace the dispersion through the centuries of the 30 pieces of silver paid to Judas Iscariot.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
24" x 36" Movie poster. Both a Black & White and a color version and something that can translate between b/w & color well. I envision the hill of Golgotha in the background with the outline of three crosses on it. Something dark and brooding. Somehow needs to incorporate the idea of the silver coins.
At the bottom of the poster in movie type needs to be the details in small movie type lettering.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Anyone with an interest in Roman history, religious history, an interest in historical fiction. The dramas will ultimately be broadcast on religious radio stations throughout the US.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
I love the grainy detail and overall feel of this one:
I love the simplicity of this one:
I love the immediate sense of mood conveyed here and the colors in this one:
Another great example of mood:
Different, sort of a retro look which for an anachronistic thing like radio drama could possibly work in a more muted vein than this:
The font has to go but the mood, silhouette, colors etc are spot on:
Not much there yet.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We have to have the text: Vena Argentum presents Vein of Silver. We have to have the website of the project: www.veinofsilver.com and we have to have the visual image of the cross/crosses, the hill of Golgotha (which, remember loosely resembles a skull), and silver coins. We have to have, somewhere the logo for the project (can be small and color can be manipulated but remember that it's blood).
Please use any of the photos attached for inspiration or for direct tracing, taking, whatever.
Good fonts (but not limited too):
Copperplate -- Bold, Light, Gothic
