Business Info

Business Name

MARIO'S Restaurant

What do you do?

We are in the process of re-booting a restaurant currently known as La Traviata. The new name is MARIO'S named after the owner and it will now include Outdoor Dining... hence this project. Local buzz is building about the re-boot.

How many pages of print design do you need?

3

List the size requirement(s) for your print design

The renderings should be able to scale up to 20" x 24"

Target Audience

What is your industry?

Food and Beverage

Describe the target audience for your print design

Our target audience for the restaurant includes most age groups of urban dwellers as the restaurant is in downtown Long Beach, CA. However the rendering should have a young, urban but sophisticated vibe.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

We want to excite our audience of existing and new restaurant patrons that the new MARIO'S will be the place for lunch, dinner or drinks.
Downtown Long Beach is experiencing a true renaissance at the moment and lacks for sophisticated, outdoor dining.

Style and Concept

What print design styles do you like?

Thanks to utilize the photos uploaded to produce a rendering that looks as real as possible.

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

The building facade won't change but the awnings will be replaced with Bistro-style awnings that are flat and have a gentle slope towards the street. The current awnings cover up beautiful semi-circular, multi-pane windows which will be lit from the back at night. The new awnings are affixed to the building below the semi-circle pane windows.
The new name MARIO'S will need to be prominent on the main awning over the entrance and on some of the other awnings as well.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?

We have to lose the current green color of the awnings. Otherwise awning colors are up to your ideas.
Outdoor dining colors for tables, chairs and environment should be fresh and inviting.

What adjectives should best describe your print design?

Inviting,
Urban Sophistication
Bright - not dark

How will you use the print design?

The renderings will be used to show restaurant patrons and other stakeholders of our plans for MARIO'S

What content must be included in the print design?

See the new MARIO'S logo uploaded.
We should have 2 - 3 views of the outdoor dining area.
The new Outdoor dining area will be under the current south-facing 3 awning facade. The other east facing facade will also get the same awnings but no dining due to space limitations.
See uploaded images of the current restaurant + some renderings of the outside of other buildings that would meet our criteria.
Thanks to utilize the building photos uploaded to produce a rendering that looks as real as possible.
