Creative Brief

Who are you?

We are Marbles: the Brain Store. Marbles is a first-of-its-kind retail concept that focuses on products designed to stimulate and strengthen the brain. We offer over 200 products ranging from books and travel games to family board games and computer programs, and we are always on the lookout for new products. We know it is important to try new activities that challenge different parts of your brain so we carry products for memory, critical thinking, coordination, visual perception and word skills. Before entering the Marbles collection, our products are reviewed by our review board that consists of scientists, physicians, psychologists and other therapists. Our message to you is outsmart your age and our mission is to help you succeed, and have some fun while youre at it.

What do you need?

We need a cover design for our CD, and a design for the CD itself. Attached is a CD we already like the cover design of, as well as a book we like the artwork in. We will be producing a CD of our own music, so need artwork that fits with the product. The music will be classical music to stimulate your mind and helping improve brain skills. The CD has the working title of "Marbles Mind Music." The title, as well as the attached Marbles logo should be incorporated into both designs. The Marbles Pantones are attached as well. You don't have to use these colors exclusively, but designs should not fight with them.

Who Is Your Audience?

Marbles games can be for anyone, but we are specifically focused on baby boomers and their children who are concerned about maintaining mental fitness as they age. In terms of gender, it should be somewhat neutral.


We Absolutely Must Have

Marbles: the Brain Store on the packaging, as well as the attached logo. The colors used in the packaging must not fight with the logo or branding. The design must be clean and modern.
