What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

2 - Professional, clean, reliable - not cheesy or cartoonish or goofy.
3 - Smart doctors have good new treatments for you, medically proven.
Style and Concept
What print design styles do you like?
See attached "possible-cover-design-idea" image for an image we like. You can use this image, but YOU DON'T NEED TO - we are open to other new ideas too!
This author has written several other Lyme disease books, so you can see her style of book covers here:
But I repeat - YOU DON'T NEED TO COPY THESE DESIGNS. We are open to new designs too. Just providing these for you to see what book covers she's liked, and used, in the past.
If you want to use this image for your cover design, you'll need to download the FULL RESOLUTION version here:
The one I'm providing is only a mock-up (low res).
What colors do you want to see in your print design?
See attached image - "possible-cover-image-idea" - we like this image, and we like these colors. But if you have other ideas, show us!
What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?
We are pretty open to any ideas. Just nothing too silly, goofy, ridiculous. It is a professional, smart, subtle, clean book. Not a goofy or blasting book. We are happy to see you experiment with different colors and stock images. But please don't go crazy with ticks. I know Lyme disease is a tick disease, but we don't want to see big ugly ticks all over the place.
What adjectives should best describe your print design?
balance, holistic wellness, clean, medical, smart, helpful, trustworthy, reliable, new information, cutting edge, doctors, lyme disease.
How will you use the print design?
For a book cover.
What content must be included in the print design?
See attached Word file for more information. The front cover should have the the following content -------
book title: New Paradigms in Lyme Disease Treatment: 10 Top Doctors Reveal Healing Strategies That Work
By Connie Strasheim
Foreword by Steven Harris, M.D.
The front cover should also have this quote -----------
A masterful summation and well-researched overview of Lyme disease and its co- infections. Reflecting years of clinical experience and medical wisdom, this book shares a variety of cutting edge integrative and functional medicine tools and is an invaluable resource to clinicians and patients alike.
--Sean Devlin DO, MD(H), MS
Medical Director, Institute of Integrative Medicine and Oncology
Santa Monica, CA
The BACK COVER should have the book description which I'm uploading, and it should also have ten photos, one of each doctor who was interviewed for the book. Under the doctor's photos should be their name and their medical title (i.e., M.D., or D.O., or N.D., as shown in the picture file names). The doc photos should all be the same size - to fit on the back cover, maybe 1 inch tall by .75 inches wide? The back cover also needs my company logo and book barcode (see attached). Finally, the back cover needs to have these words at the bottom of the cover: For related Lyme disease books and DVDs, visit www.LymeBook.com
***VERY IMPORTANT*** - your designs should include both the front and the back cover, so we can see both please.
You can get creative with the doc photos (10 of them)... maybe put them vertically in 2 columns, or horizontally in 2 columns, whatever... make them look good.
I would like to receive high-res PDF files and also PSD files if possible. There will be two different spine widths, which I will provide at the end of the project.
