LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Hungry's Cafe and Bistro is a local independent restaurant chain operating in the Houston area. We are in the process of rebranding, and designing a new menu for dine-in customers as well as a new menu that features our catering as well as dine-in items.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need an insert listing our new lunch and dinner specials designed. This insert will need to fit inside our new dine-in menu. The dine-in menu prints 19" wide by 15 3/4 " inches long. It folds to 9.5" wide x 15 3/4 " long. We'd like the specials insert to be designed to maximum size while still fitting inside the dine-in menu and not portruding from the side or bottom. Our current specials insert is 9" wide by 15" long. The Lunch Specials will print on one side and the Dinner specials on the other. We currently print 4-color for this insert, so the design may incorporate multiple colors. Upon finish the insert will be laminated (as well as the Dine-In Menu).
The insert should use the same color palette as the Dine-In and To-Go Menus attached, as well as many of the same fonts so that the look is consistent. You may introduce another accent color in the design if needed. Although our primary color is PMS 5777, we have other colors that might work well for the insert so that it pops, such as our orange or brownish tones. We also use a green and beige texture for some of the other menus, and these may be used as well.
The headings, ie. Lunch Specials and Dinner Specials need to be large and at then top of the page. We would also like to use the Hungry's logo. I would not like a straight list of items on a colored background and am open to different graphic treatments.
I have attached several files:
Current layouts for To-Go and Dine-In Menu (these are almost final but there are still a few changes)
Font links for some of the fonts used on our catering menu
Word files for both the Lunch and Dinner Specials
Folder containing textures used on some of our menus/collateral
Example of our current specials insert (which I really don't like and find visually boring).
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our audience for this insert is dine-in customers, although some customers may print this from our website or order to-go orders through the website as well. Our restaurant sometimes has dim lighting in the evening, so we need to ensure that the font is not too small and that it is easy to read by even people with poor vision in the evening.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
See the dine-in menu and to-go menu I posted.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
Hungry's logo, graphic consistency with new menus, size as per specified in brief.
