LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Australia's Biggest Independent Game Publisher!
The golden sandy beaches and rolling surf of Australias Gold Coast houses Australias biggest independent video game publisher, N3V Games!
N3V Games has built Rock Solid partnerships with industry heavyweights like Nintendo and Sony as well as a myriad of top notch game developers and publishers including Jowood, 1C Company, Akella, CDV, DTP, EA, Endgame Studios, Focus, Frozenbyte, GFI, Half Brick, Hot Head, Idea, JoWooD, Koch, Kylotonn, Lexis Numerique, Lighthouse, Merscom, Monte Cristo, Nobilis, Noviy Disk, Paradox, Playlogic, PQube, Real, Stardock, Techland, Timetrip and The Games Company just to name a few.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We require a product slick (DVD insert) to be created for a PC games product range called Games for Her.
Things to note:
- It is important to have an icon / logo that represents and compliments the Games for Her brand.
- The Games for Her brand / logo needs to be prominent on the front, back and spine of the box.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The overall look should appeal to female gamers aged 25 to 50 while keeping a modern overall style but still pitched to women.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
You can see more product styles from these links:
http://lh5.ggpht.com/_-jYJeuXn7xU/SkLgzt...
(the header on this design is modern but very basic, we are after more detail then this)
http://acegamez.com/wp-content/uploads/2...
(this cover is very female orientated due to the colours and design while maintaining a modern design still)
http://www.n3vgames.com/uploadsDir/Core_...
(Core Games is the last brand we had designed by CrowdSPRING. This cover was modern and well designed at a very high standard for the Creative Brief which was aimed at males not females! ... we would expect the same quality standards for this Creative Brief)
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
The Template Provided:
(Games for Her Template.psd) ... yes we realise the template is very bare and ugly at the moment, thats why we are here!
There are 3 parts to the template. The Front, Back and Spine.
On the Front of the template we need the black rectangle to remain empty as the front cover of another product will be placed here. You will get an understanding from our previous range Core Games:
http://www.crowdspring.com/project/22844...
On the Spine the classification (G) label needs to stay in the top position it is in. The text down the spine is a place holder to say that the name of the title needs to go here and needs to look smart / stylish and modern but still have it fit in with the cover and easy to read.
On the Back the amount of text is to remain and the black rectangles will be screenshots (pictures) from the actual game and should remain on the back somewhere. The classification marking (G), barcode and game stats should remain on the cover too.
The red area around the outside will be the crop area and should not have any text in it and most likely will not be present when the cover is printed as it will be cut off, so dont put too many important visuals here.
The yellow area around the outside will remain in the print but should not contain text as it might still be cut off.
