What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?
- it must be obvious that it's a book about fantasy football
- it must have some feeling of secrecy or 'in the know' to it. The title and sub-title are: "Trade Wins: The Final Untapped Advantage in Fantasy Football". Thus is should have that feeling of being exclusive, privileged information that their league mates don't have
- it must come across as professional. I'm not a well-known fantasy football writer or anything, so my name isn't going to carry any credibility. So it's important that the book look as polished and professional as possible and reflect the amount of work and effort I've put into it.
Style and Concept
What print design styles do you like?
I like clean and modern, as opposed to busy and classic. I tend to favour sans-serif fonts over serif.
What colors do you want to see in your print design?
Nothing specific, I'm pretty open to all colours. However, pay attention to the demographic split - namely the 87% male audience.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?
Nothing specific, but as above, pay attention to the demographic profile.
What adjectives should best describe your print design?
polished, professional, clean, crisp, intriguing, interesting, thought-provoking, success
How will you use the print design?
This book cover will be solely for the purposes of an e-book, sold mainly on Amazon and other similar online book retailers.
What content must be included in the print design?
The Final Untapped Advantage in Fantasy Football
