the mailer postcard will be 9" wide by 6" tall trimmed to cut marks at that sizing...so the mailer will be full bleed 9"x6"

Style and Concept
What print design styles do you like?
We like things clean yet still with some elements that excite the reader. We need things that are not so stiff that they look boring but there is some element that makes it jump at you but just enough that it does not overwhelm or take it over the top to much...
We want this design to have a specific look and feel as noted in the "content must be included section below"
What colors do you want to see in your print design?
Colors need to jive with the brand colors that can be seen in the attached zip file...
What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?
no pastels or feminine types of colors...
What adjectives should best describe your print design?
fun, clean, bold, exciting, sharp...
How will you use the print design?
This direct mailer will be distributed to our mailing list of high priority clients throughout the united states in order to inform them of our yield offerings and in turn they can present this card to our salesmen in order to receive the usb drive that is shown in one of the pictures to aid them in keeping more effective records...
What content must be included in the print design?
Okay, on the back of the mailer which is the side with the mailing label areas you will need to clip out the picture of the frustrated grower that is included in the associated zip file with this project. We want to trim everything out of the background except for the grower sitting at the desk looking down at the maps frustrated. The return address should be our corporate address:
Helena Chemical Company
225 Schilling Blvd. Suite 300
Collierville, TN 38701
Then there needs to be an address label location for us to place labels for the client.
On the front of mailer postcard we have a specific vision where we would like to take the image that represents the saleman helping the grower with the book side by side in some cool way with the shot of the book and the jump drive on the hood of the truck... We were thinking almost like a split screen view with some type of faded disovle or something between those two images. However, we are not married to that visual and are very open to any interpretation of that. Our main goal is to show the grower frustrated on the back of the mailer and then on the front of the mailer the objective is to represent our salesperson helping out the grower with his struggles and the tools that we used to accomplish that shown next to that which are the book and the drive which is used to organize and collect the data that we turn into that book that it is laying next to. That in turn eases the growers frustration due to its ease of use and valuable information.
Inside the attached zip file you will also find the AGRIntelligence logo and our helena logo and we need to have the helena logo represented along with the AGRIntelligence logo. Helena is the main company AGRIntelligence is the department that we work for within helena and Truyield is the logo that needs to dominantly be displayed as that is the product focus of the direct mailer... The Truyield logo needs to be larger but the helena logo needs to be prominantly represented along with the AGRIntelligence logo possibly in the oppsite corner or something like that. There also needs to be a powerful title statement to theme the mailer, we would like to use the line More Confidence, Better Decisions for the mailer title in a cool unique font presentation. Also, we would like some type of grids or vector type of swirls and or something that provides color and style to the mailer etc... Inside the zip file you will also find the helena bar that needs to be shown on the bottom of the mailers front side across the bottom. We will put our copyright information and registration information in there. Please review a previous mailer example that is included to note how that bar is laid out in that version. We will need a similar use in this mailer. DO NOT copy the layout of that mailer we do not want that specific layout again but just the use of the bar will need to be the same for consistancy purposes. However, please note the use of the helena and AGRIntelligence logos we will need a similar presentation but shoot for something different... Please use greeking to represent the text for now and we will fill that in at a later date. We are still currently working on that. I have included our overall main product brochure example that we are currently using to give an example of our current styling those are noted in the zip file under the current styling folder... So there it is just take a look at those style examples and the previous mailer and give it a go and we will review from there... I look forward to working with each of you!
Thanks
Chris
