I have just authored a new book that will be available in September. The books title is - INNOVATE! How Successful Distributors Lead Change In Disruptive Times.

About The Author

Dirk Beveridge is the leading advocate of change and innovation throughout wholesale distribution. The industrys most outstanding speaker, Dirks presentations are unparalleled. He delivers original, proven, and at times disruptive thinking. His energy and passion for excellence are infectious and inspires audiences to step from the zone of comfort to unleash the urgency to drive change. Beveridge is routinely asked to speak on innovation, business strategy, sales, and leadership.

For over 25 years as a consultant to the industry, Beveridge has helped leading distribution firms align, focus, and strengthen their strategies to remain relevant, outperform the market, and provide deeper value to customers.

Dirk delivers a new voice, a new energy, and a new outlook.

About UnleashWD
UnleashWD is setting a bold agenda for the 300,000 wholesalers and distributors in the country. Noticing that innovation was bypassing wholesalers and distributors, Dirk Beveridge founded UnleashWD in 2012. What began as a single offering, UnleashWD has become a critical resource for future thinking distributors.

The UnleashWD Innovation Summit is a bold and essential annual industry event. This one-of-a-kind summit delivers an outstanding immersive experience through amazing speakers, inspired networking and relevant application.

UnleashWDs 9-90-1 Innovations Days are facilitated as custom programs to help distributors obliterate the status quo and create one transformative breakthrough following a nine hour workshop and ninety day implementation plan.

Additionally, the research and writings from UnleashWD are delivering preeminent thought leadership in the form of white papers, books, webinars, innovation awards, trade magazine articles, videos, and more.

How many pages of print design do you need?

List the size requirement(s) for your print design

I will need the final work product in two sizes - for printing as 8.5x11 and 18 x 24.

Additionally - each individual component of the infographic will need to be provided as a separate stand alone graphic so that I can share them via social media and incorporate them individually into blog posts, white papers, PowerPoint presentations etc

Target Audience

What is your industry?

Consulting and Professional Services

Describe the target audience for your print design

We are targeting a business audience. Think about those who read, Fast Company, Harvard Business Review and Forbes as our targeted audience. I describe my targeted audience as individuals with these five qualities:

Intellectual - They are always learning.
Big Thinkers - They wake up everyday wanting to accomplish bold things.
Challengers - They are committed to obliterating the status quo.
Doers - They get s#!@ done.
Value Creators - Their high standards of excellence produce extraordinary results.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

We need to capture the essence and the big ideas of each of the five chapters of my book. This first project focuses on the first chapter. See the 17 page word doc attached.

Style and Concept

What print design styles do you like?

Most infographics are number and data focused. this is not. My book is full of stories that need to be told in a visual format. We need compelling graphics, drawings, visualizations to be associated with the big ideas within the chapter

Here is a link to an infographic - that caught my eye. It has too many words I think, but the characterization of Steve Jobs is compelling

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

I'll leave this to the creative. You can see our company colors at www.unleashwd.com IF we can support this - it would probably be good.

If you want to think ahead - what will the color scheme be for all five infogrpahics? Will they all be the same - or will the color scheme have a different background color that visually says this is the next infographic in the series? Hmmm

What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?

Not Sure

What adjectives should best describe your print design?

Stands out

How will you use the print design?

We will use this in several ways.

We will print the infographic in two sizes 8.5x11 and 18 x 24.

Additionally - each individual component of the infographic will need to be provided as a separate stand alone graphic so that I can share them via social media and incorporate them individually into blog posts, white papers, PowerPoint presentations etc

What content must be included in the print design?

The Headline and sub headline should be:

A Call For Innovation

Somehow we need to associate my name Dirk Beveridge with the title and the infographic

Also - You know how they have product placements in movies and TV shows. Subtle and actually part of the story. I'd like to have this quote embedded into the infogrpahic somehow -

"Every field has its rabble rousers, change agents, thought leaderspeople with the wisdom to understand the past, and the creativity to conjure up a new vision for the future. In the field of wholesale distribution, Dirk Beveridge is that thought leader. INNOVATE is an indispensable book that presents his vision. Leaders can't let what they know limit what they can imagine. Let Dirk's book fire your imagination to make long-lasting change in fast-moving times."
