LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
MEOR does outreach to Jewish students on college campuses around the US. Our goal is to educate, inspire, and excite American college students to become more actively engaged in Jewish life, at the university and beyond.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Our most dynamic and high impact program is a three week trip to Israel. Students spend the morning exploring Jewish ideas and afternoons and weekends touring the country and having an all-around great time. We're looking to create a couple of pieces that could be used either as printed post cards or in in e-mails to promote this incredible opportunity.
The exact text wed like for the pieces is below, but Id like to share the theme that were trying to get across to guide you in your design decisions. Many young Jewish people have traveled to Israel at some point or another and enjoy their experience. Our marketing pitch with our MEOR Israel trip is that the combination of learning about Judaism and Jewish ideas in addition to touring, provides a significant enhancement over any other Israel experience. As you can see in the text below, the theme of an upgrade is prominent and I think it should be strongly and overtly represented graphically in the piece.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We are marketing this trip to college students, so the design should be edgy and energetic, but at the same time we promote religious and spiritual values and as such would like to keep the design G Rated.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
In the past we've used a black background for impact, but we're fairly open to any ideas. Let your creative juices go!
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
I'm attaching our organization's logo, which should be included somewhere in the design, although the colors can be modified.
Also, we'd like the following exact text (that's also included in an attached document, divided by paragraphs):
"Get an Israel upgrade!
Whether you've been before, or are a first timer, there's no better way to experience the power and excitement of your homeland than with MEOR Israel. Combining weeks of touring, adventure, and chill, with a profound and engaging exploration of Judaism and what it can mean to you, MEOR Israel delivers the greatest trip since the Jews left Egypt! All this for less than the price of a ticket to Israel
