LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Low Energy Supplies and Services Pty Ltd (LESS) is an Australian company that delivers energy and water saving products and programs to householders and businesses that save them money, while reducing consumption and greenhouse gases.

We specialise in creating and delivering innovative solutions that reduce demand for energy and water as well as manage existing use efficiently. We are currently managing a number of projects that offer energy-saving measures to householders including Solar Hot Water, Solar Power, energy saving light bulbs, water efficient showerheads, assessments of energy use in homes with buddy systems to help people reduce their household energy consumption and bills.

We have a logo that has been in use since the business was started (attached). We have also had two corporate brochures produced a prospectus and a corporate profile (attached). We would like to move away from the look and feel produced for both these documents (in particular, the use of plant imagery). However, the layout of the front page eg: white panel at top, image block in the middle with ghosted two tone-panel at bottom of image to accommodate publication name, as well as contact details at page bottom, should be retained.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a design for a Corporate Profile (which is being renamed Capability Statement), a Prospectus, a suite of Case Studies and a set of corporate banners.

The Capability Statement and Prospectus designs should feature covers, as well as inside pages templates and back page and be designed for A4 size (but will most likely be produced as A3 folded to A4 finished size).

The Case Studies are intended to be produced as one page, A4 double sided format. The case studies may be grouped into the following three areas: demand management, energy efficiency and carbon abatement. However, as some projects cover all areas were also after a case study design that covers all three areas (and will be named as corporate). We are after four different colour schemes for case studies: 1. Corporate (eg: to cover all projects), 2. Demand Management, 3. Energy Efficiency, 4. Carbon Abatement.

The design should also work for pull up banners (specs are Visual area: 2170mm(h) x 1200mm(w) + add 30mm bleed to top and sides, 200mm bleed to bottom).

The designs should incorporate the PMS colours used in the LESS logo (2995U or 639C, and Cool Grey 11C) . The concept were after does not have to be limited to these colours. However, were also interested in a professional, authoritative look so were not after every colour in the rainbow.

We would like to incorporate images into the covers of both the Capability Statement and the Prospectus. We do not want to use imagery of men in suits, people sitting around desks or smiling while shaking hands. We also do not want to use images of wildlife or cartoons.

The banner design may include imagery but doesnt have to.

The case studies will incorporate images in the content so the design doesnt have to (as it may look cluttered).

All items should look consistent and part of a suite.

Your proposal should include designs for the three items above but ultimately we are after the templates in native file format for future use by our own desktop publisher who currently works on InDesign Creative Suite 3 for PC.

The key messages of the concept are that we are an environmental sustainability company, we are professional, dynamic and innovative, and deliver high quality products and services.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Energy retailers, Energy networks, Australian Corporate/business, financial institutions as well as federal, state and local government.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We want a concept that is eye-catching and memorable. It must look modern and not cottage-industry or homemade but more slick and professional while still being easy for the target audience to relate to.

We do not want images of wildlife, children running in fields or anything 'airy-fairy' that is usually related to environmental projects. Would prefer colour palette to not include green.
