We are open to your original and creative ideas. You can see the past CD covers we have used on the above website, but please note that the artwork should be entirely new and original.

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

We have no specific color scheme in mind as long as the colors work for making the CD Cover unique and interesting.

What adjectives should best describe your print design?

We are looking for cover art for a new CD release called OUTRAGEOUS ELEMENTS 2.

The music for the Outrageous Elements 2 release will be unconventional, intense, unique and contemporary sounding, and the artwork should reflect these qualities. Outrageous Elements 2 music has been specially crafted for use in big film trailers for horror, thriller, action and sci-fi movies.

The compositions have a musical shape but contain sounds like machine noise, scraping metal, huge slams and crunches, nasty synthesizers, and mechanical drum beats. The music possesses a non-traditional approach that at times will sound audacious and irreverent.

How will you use the print design?

The print design will be used as the CD cover and the color scheme will be used throughout the CD on the discs and the tray card.

What content must be included in the print design?

OUTRAGEOUS ELEMENTS 2 should appear prominently in the center of the artwork (using a creative design/font of your choosing).

You do not need to replicate the Robert Etoll Productions or Q-Factory logos, or the informational text at the bottom. We will add that later.

Without limiting your creative ideas, we would favor a more abstract approach to the artwork as opposed to more defined images. If identifiable images are to be used, they should not look too stock, i.e., they should be heavily distorted or obscured. This release evokes images such as gears, blades, flames, explosions, crashes, sparks, metallic parts, etc. There is nothing calm, smooth or friendly about Outrageous Elements 2.

Artwork should not be too complex since it will need to be resized (often small) for use on our website.

We also do not want cheesy musical notes, g-clefs, staffs, waveforms, LED lights, etc. This has been done a million times before.

Because our music is original and unique, please think outside the box.
