The Beyond Group
What do you do?
We are a specialist consulting company that develops and presents small (typically in-house) conferences for companies in the area of productivity, better selling and LEAN/SixSigma
How many pages of print design do you need?
6 (with the final 4 pages very similar to each other - see attached files). The objective however, is not the content, the objective is the templates
List the size requirement(s) for your print design
A4. This brochure needs to be able to be printed on 4 sheets - A4 or on a single (back/front) A3 sheet that can be folded to make a brochure.
What is your industry?
Health Care and Biotech
Describe the target audience for your print design
The target audience will be heads of productivity, heads of procurement or heads of marketing. Typical attendees to our events are not "C" level but will be one level down (people who still actually do work).
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?
We will provide the content for each of our brochures. We are looking mostly for templates that we then can take and edit the content for many of our events.
The visual feel of the brochure has to up-beat and have a smooth professional feel to it
Until today we have used either WORD or Powerpoint and simply printed these pages - its now time to up-our-game and have something that simply looks more finished and polished.
Style and Concept
What print design styles do you like?
The style needs to be business like. This is not a flashy consumer type product but a business to business offering. The creative is given free hand in designing the brochure and its style, but it cannot look like a highway diner's menu (crowded with seemingly meaningless boxes, tabs and graphics).
What colors do you want to see in your print design?
I have included our colour scheme in a document called: "TBG_Logo Colour Scheme_Colour Values.pdf". This colour scheme is consistent with the Powerpoint theme "Grid". Yes the colours are a bit muted, but it goes with our "Swiss" identity and the fact that the Swiss don't find very much of anything humorous (except making money). Please try to keep within this colour framework.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?
What adjectives should best describe your print design?
Sober, Powerful, Restrained, Trustworthy, Objective, oh yea and; man-this-is-going-to-cost-me-a-bundle (but worth it).
How will you use the print design?
It will either be a handout (a real brochure). Printed on A4 or a brochure download from our website.
What content must be included in the print design?
The document attached: is our current brochure. The content is already in-place and does not need modification. We would like:
1. A blank template that we could use for each of our conferences (all 4 pages), and we load the content.
2. The attached Word document "BSP_Prospectus_141117 (2-Days)" adapted to the template created by you (it will be our first brochure).
We will be using WORD to populate the templates so please indicate fonts, sizes and colour values and anything else we would need to know about the templates.
