LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
St. Bernards is the largest medical hospital in Northeast Arkansas. I am attaching a document with the overall goals of the entire campaign. The concept that we have come up with is that the breast cancer victims are fighting a battle with cancer and declaring "I WIN" I W.I.N. is an acronym for Increase Women's Imaging Now. The woman needs to be perceived as being strong and warrior-like. Our pink for life team of breast cancer survivors are "The Pink Warriors." We are trying to get the message across that cancer will not win. The survivor will. In concepting this, one graphic that was popular with the client was the idea that the survivors in the pieces would be wearing "eye black" that football players wear, but of course it would be pink. The PDF that I am attaching will show you what I'm referring to. We do not like this layout of course, so ignore that.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a several pieces for this campaign. The main goal is to establish a look and convert it to billboards, ads, brochures, web banners, etc. So, when working on this, use any of those mediums to create your design. The client did express that they liked an edgy, strong, bold look, so even though we are targeting women, we don't want to be to whimsical and girly. Not to say pink is out of the question, b/c it will have to have some pink. The attached word document was given by the client which will explain their thoughts on the target as well.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
underserved women who aren't educated about breast health
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
attached will give you idea, but please come up with a more edgy, bold approach. We need some pink in here and black, but not tons of pink. We want it to be classy and new age looking. They do like hot pink too, so don't feel stuck on pepto bismal pink. DO NOT USE greens or blues. The fonts commonly used are stone sans for copy and bell gothic for headlines.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
St Bernards imaging center logo
American Cancer Coalition Logo
I WIN graphic
The fight against breast cancer (this is a theme, not a headline...almost an afterthought)
Headline: I'm in it to win!
