List the size requirement(s) for your print design

see enclosed for both sizes

Target Audience

What is your industry?

promotional advertising products and custom decorated apparel

Describe the target audience for your print design

Buyers of promotional products. These are primarily creative, marketing folks. They are ~75% women ages 27-45. Some buyers are CEOs of companies, HR folks, or Sales Managers, Procurement folks, but again - we target creatives and marketing folks who interact with their company's brand. Through design, we need them to think/realize we are forward thinking, have design cache, are cool/hip, fun to work with, creative, the cat's meow...

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

A fresh, clean design that makes us look like a large, creative, thoughtful agency. The copy requested will do the rest of the work.

Style and Concept

What print design styles do you like?

See attached for previous year designs. The cleaner and hipper, the better. The woman painting, for example, was not received as well as the others.
www.brandfuel.com shows who we are and how we think.

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

pms 130 yellow, 1795 red, black, and white.

Font = Bell Gothic

What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?

What adjectives should best describe your print design?

clean, powerful, and possibly energy

How will you use the print design?

Each year, we design a CLEAN new catalog design for the *cover only. The catalog features the merchandise we sell inside it (custom printed t-shirts, bags, usb drives, etc.). The cover design should NOT represent specific products we sell. Those covers that are the best received are the timeless versions that are really bold and clean. Please see attachment for those we have used over the last 8 or so years as a point of reference.

*We need front, back, and spine designs, not just the front cover!

What content must be included in the print design?

Our logo!

pms 130 yellow, 1795 red, black, and white.

Font = Bell Gothic

www.brandfuel.com in all 3 locations (spine, front, back) in bell gothic - can be separated from logo

Rocket can be separated in 3 colors or in 1 color (black, silver, white, or red only). Please ensure that the rocket always points straight up! See attached separate "Rocket" file.

We need two covers that are the exact same with one difference: One should say "Idea Generator" and the other should say "Apparel Catalog" on the front, back, and spine. If you can differentiate catalogs even more, with color for example, please, please go for it.

On the Spine, it must read: Brand Fuel Promotions in Bell Gothic with either ''2010 Idea Generator'' or ''2010 Apparel Catalog'' (again, we need 2 files with this easy change). Our rocket should go at the top, pointing up, in our 3 colors or just one (black, silver, white, or red only).

It is ok to get rid of the tagline "Our Stuff's..." if need be.

the year: 2011 should be on front and spine

add on the back: Please visit brandfuel.com for thousands of new products, unique case studies, SurveyFuel, and ridiculous videos.

Add facebook icon on back. Our page is http://www.facebook.com/BrandFuelPromoti... if that helps.

Use the attached art file for the lower part of the back cover that indicates our addresses, but be sure addresses have ''9001'' and not 8001.

Please also add this to the address area:
Our newest office: 400 N. Broome St, Suite #400 Waxhaw, NC 28173

And the enclosed Best Places to Work Award icon

bleeds are ok!!
