What do you do?

We are an employee benefits (group health, group dental, group life & disability) insurance agency in South Carolina that concentrates on companies with employee base of between 50 and 1000 employees. We have been in business for over 13 years and have a very good reputation for working hard for our clients and competing with larger agencies. We have a young aggressive staff and are forward thinking in the way we do business. We innovate with new product, technologies, and communication materials and can move quicker than our competition. We deliver more than just quoting insurance, and have a large array of value added services we provide our clients. Our image is one that is medium sized, not mom and pop but not huge (AON), that is boutique in nature in that we can deliver solutions and give employers more time and hand holding than a larger agency. We advocate wellness into our clients and have a focus on containing costs in our clients by helping their companies employees get healthier and promote a healthier lifestyle. We have a wellness staff to help our clients control costs, which most of our competitors do not have or do.

Describe the target audience for your print design

We are looking for human resource professionals, owners of companies, managers, corporate decision makers, and cfo's.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

That we are forward thinking, our brand is above the others, we strive to be more of an upscale agency that possesses more programs, has more braintrust that our competitors, and has plans that our competitors don't provide. We also want to potray that we are young, focused, work hard, and have more to offer for a clientele that wants the best for their employees, not budget concious.

Style and Concept

What print design styles do you like?

There is not one style, i have included a few examples of some of our previous campaigns and brochure covers. We are open to new idead, edgy, corporate, doesn't have to be bland and safe. We want to attract attenting to our ads. We are on third page of the business paper so you open it we are upper right, very good visability.

What adjectives should best describe your print design?

I have included rough text below for each of three different themes of the year. This text can (and will when we go to pring) re-written to convey the message but it gives you a rough idea of the text of the top of each ad's tagline.

How will you use the print design?

we will use it in advertising, promotional packages, and on our website. We will reward a prize for each category and the overall best design will get 1st and 2nd so on. You do not have to have an idea for each ad, and can pick and chose which tagline you would like to submit, but you can submit all three. Each will be submitted as stand alone. On the ads below (empower, healthier companies, & innovation) we have a co-op partner logo, this does not need to be included but we need to have space to put a patner logo in the ad. We have included our logo also for livewell 24/7, our wellness programs name.
