LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Who we are are people who are devoted to having a world filled with the possibility of healthy, productive young people who enjoy life and who also understand that we're here to learn, grow and help each other.

The book has already been published and is available through Amazon only at the moment. We have reconsidered who this book is for and what we need to do in order to market it properly. The book is geared toward the teen market and is a detailed, step by step approach to gaining more confidence. It needs a new, representative cover that will appeal to all races and even cultures.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a cover design that features happy, confident looking teens, boys and girls from 12-18. The photo can be black and white, or color. It can be kids in action-jumping with outstretched arms or gathered together in a group, in a somewhat "natural/casual" pose. We love the color turquoise for background and are open to suggestions.Currently the cover is dark red with a b&w photo and white lettering. It's important that the photo include:Asians, Indians, Caucasians, and African Americans.

The cover must excite and entice the imagination yet display a clear message about what it is. It is about having a happier life.It is about knowing who you are and becoming a bigger person. It's a guide book and a road map to confidence.

It must be a public domain photo so that we maintain full, exclusive rights to use it on the cover of a book indefinitely. The cost of using this photo must be included in the total cost of achieving this project.

We just need the front cover. The back is complete.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

We want this cover to speak to kids and call out to them to buy the book because it is guaranteed to help them. The cover must infer: "you can do this, be this, have this, yes you can." Essentially, it must scream confidence in a classy sort of way-nothing silly or obnoxious. This is a serious and inspirational book. This is the kind of book that be used continuously for future reference. It even has work book inserts for people who are committed to increasing their level of confidence.

The target audience is pre- teens/teens 12-19. Young adults will surely benefit from this book as well.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Since we carefully selected a cover and now realize it's not the right cover, we are open to your suggestions. We love artsy black and white shots and color photo(s) may be fine too. We like clean lines, nothing too busy. The tile must be large enough and clear enough for people to see. The lettering can be black/white or anything that stands out against the rest of the cover. The most important thing is that it be easy to read.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Teenagers of different ethincities.

They must have compelling faces/eyes. There must be direct eye contact with the viewer. Different displays of teens in ethnic clothing might be interesting but not necessary. We don't want to see pouty, scary or bizarre expressions on faces. We want teens who look well adjusted.(We're not selling perfume, make-up, or underwear.)

No black backgrounds.
