Target Audience

What is your industry?

Education and Training

Describe the target audience for your print design

Supervisors and managers -- all industries and organization sizes

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

1. I want this to feel more like a newspaper or magazine report than a standard seminar brochure. This should feel less like a sales piece, and more like the introduction to an editorial piece.

2. I need for this to be a little on the humorous side.

3. I need for the reader to be intrigued by the copy and design -- enough so that they open the brochure and want to keep reading to learn more

Style and Concept

What print design styles do you like?

Open to lots of different design styles
1. Norman Rockwell-ish blast from the past -- but put an updated spin on it
2. New York modern flair
3. Trader Joe's rough and rugged yet playful look

... or others

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

It's easier to say what I don't want: We cannot do a heavy black or dark background (it would bleed through our paper). Not wanting this to be bright primary colors -- be more intersted and subdued with the pallette choice.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?

It's easier to say what I don't want: We cannot do a heavy black or dark background (it would bleed through our paper). Not wanting this to be bright primary colors -- be more intersted and subdued with the pallette choice.

What adjectives should best describe your print design?

Interesting
Easy to read -- message comes across clear with words and graphics
Informative rather than sales-y

How will you use the print design?

to promote seminar -- theme used in print, web/email

What content must be included in the print design?

use all the copy that I've attached on the word file and no more (note -- I did not include a company logo -- that is deliberate, we will not use one on the front cover of this brochure.
