LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

My rocker fiance and I (also a rocker) are getting married!

He's a drummer. I'm a singer and electric guitarist.

And we want to have a 70s themed wedding.

We want to send out our invite electronically and have it reflect our fun personalities while still addressing the fact that we're doing a sacred ceremony (we're both Jewish, by the way).

The entire wedding is a DIY - kind of a "potluck" feel to it - everyone's helping - "grass roots" It won't be your typical wedding. It's going to be super fun!

I can send you a picture of us if you want.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need an easy to forward (via email) wedding invitation - like an "emailer"

I also need to be able to print it out and stick it in the mail my parents and their older less tech saavy friends shoot it in the mail it to them.

Style:

Very simple, and in the "genre" of late 70s.

One idea was to do something that would incorportate Glenn and my face with 70s style outfits (circa 1975-78).

Info needed to be included on the invite:

- standard wedding info (date/place/map link, etc. plus website for registry, hotel info and helpful suggestions)

- incorporating our hebrew names and the hebrew date of the wedding. (I can send the letters and information in hebrew)

- in the spirit of our favorite era and incredible music that influenced both of our careers, we're asking folks to dress up in 70s couture - aka: 1975-1978. And it shouldn't be costume, but what you would wear to go to a nice party during that time period.

I will have to get you the specific details (the location, time, etc.) once we agree.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

mostly 30-40somethings with about 40 people between 60 and 75

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

It shouldn't feel to Kitschy, but you should know that we're doing 70s.
