Our upscale drop-off catering company needs a menu that reflects the care and love we have put into our offerings. All our offerings are locally sourced and crafted, from the pickles to the seeds on the bread. Since this will be our "business card" to the people we want to do business with, we need to stand out from the rest of the takeaway and catering menus. Different paper weights, shapes, designs, and textures are in play, we only ask the size be no larger than 8.5 X 11" so it will fit in a letter size manila folder (we know where we're going).
The more inventive and unique, the better - but as a warning, we are interested in a modern approach - simple and clean looking are a must. We don't want a lot of clutter, competing fonts, or non-functional components. Whimsical or fun components are encouraged because we don't take ourselves too seriously (food should be fun!) and neither should anyone else.
Thank you for reading this, we are looking forward to receiving your submission!
Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor. :)

Please make sure the pull out tabs pull out pages are functional, not just a design aspect. We do not want our guests to flip through this like a traditional menu. Making a booklet of the different topics and having it slide out from the menu while keeping it anchored to the menu cover so it doesn't get lost is one we came up with. Having 3.5" pull tabs around the perimeter of the menu that had the different topics listed is another example of non-traditional menu layouts we are interested in.
