2159 A.D. Humanity is forever changed by an event that has come to be known as ‘The Sweep.’
In the space of a few moments super powered human beings, known as Keystones, go from being rare, with fewer than a hundred documented individuals to commonplace.
Deklan Tobin is one such changed man who is also one of the first to understand the implications from the simple fact that it isn’t just humans who have been empowered. Earth must be abandoned.

Who are your readers?
Anyone who reads Science Fiction & Fantasy, but probably men.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your readers with this design?
This is a Super Hero Sci-Fi novel, I want people to get a strong super-powered vibe from the cover. I'd like the cover to have clean, elegant and powerful look.
I'd like the cover to pop out from the crowd, the Kindle store is overflowing with novels, this cover needs to lure people in.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your design?
You tell me.
Describe the style(s) you like (traditional, modern, etc.)
I'm not good at describing art so I've uploaded images of covers that I like. I've also attached a file detailing characters, their powers and 'iconic' moments in the novel.
What content must be included in your design?
Book Name. Author Name.
What colors do you want to see in your design?
You tell me.
NOTE: Please leave space for a 2" by 1.2" white box in the lower right-hand corner of the book's back cover for the ISBN barcode. Images or text in the barcode location will be covered when the book is printed. Make sure you don't have any important elements where the barcode will be placed. Visit CreateSpace for more tips on book cover sizing and requirements.

The most critical thing in any of the entries is that I want people to grasp from a thumbnail shot that this book involves super-humans.
I'm really liking some of the covers that I'm seeing, but if they don't convey the idea of super-humans then I can't score them well.

As per my last update, a winning cover will convey the idea of Super-Humans.
The cover does not need to feature all of these character, or even any of them (though that would be a harder sell).
Some of the characters from my novel include:
Deklan: Just under six feet tall, square jawed and muscular with close-cropped hair and a unique assortment of scars.
Slate: About 5’6” tall. Has no facial features or hair. Dresses in slightly torn clothing and a long black leather coat.
Powers: Strength, Teleportation, Having No Features
Adam: Extremely average looking everyman.
Powers: Near Invulnerable, when he’s hit skin & hair slough off to reveal shiny metal beneath.
Calm: 6’2” - Extremely pale, jet black hair, lanky build with an oval face.
Power: Exerts a bubble of null influence around himself. Bubble is a sphere with a 40 foot diameter, no forces are unleashed in that area without his ‘permission.’ Fire, electricity, explosions, kinetic force, etc.
Jonny: Ash blond hair, lightly built and trim.
Power: Fire streams of liquid from his palms. He can replicate any liquid that he has ever drunk.
Elizabeth: No set physical features. Always chooses to be attractive.
Power: Breaks apart to become a living mound of spiders. When she resumes human form she can look however she wants.
Stalker: His hair is spikey, but looks like a shaped oil slick on the surface of his head. Never quite static, never quite still. His pupils, irises and even the whites of his eyes are all as dark as a shadow at midnight, a perfect match to his hair.
Sunlight doesn’t shine as brightly on him. When he opens his mouth, something black, that might have once been a tongue, plays over teeth that seemed like the purest ivory in comparison.
Powers: Can transform into a living Shadow. This Shadow can climb walls, change shape and swallow people. People who are swallowed are transported to a different place where they freeze to death. Stalker then spits out frozen corpses.
Chain: A tall man, whipcord thin, he looks weathered and dangerous. Wearing dusty and dirty clothing.
Power: Fires glowing bolts of purple chain from either hand. These chains can anchor to buildings or shear through organic matter.
Mutuari: An older man, short cropped white hair. White suit. A burn scar on his left cheek, it is a hand melted into his flesh.
Power: Steal powers from others.

In case this makes a difference to any of the creatives involved in this project. I will be running focus groups on monday.
