Info
What is the title or subject of your presentation?
No Title, just a general use template
What do you do?
Engineering firm that designs communications equipment, primarily for the military.
Do you need a design for slide template(s) only or a full presentation?
Slide templates only. These will be the templates we use for all presentations in the Master Slide section.
How many slides do you need designed?
2 slide templates. 1 for the title page and 1 for the content slide.
Target Audience
What is your industry?
Other
Describe the target audience for your presentation.
Primary audience is US government department of defense employees or military members. Sometimes it will be other technology companies.
What 3 things do you want to communicate to your audience through your presentation?
We want the template to communicate professionalism. Looking for a clean, simple, uncluttered design for the content page. We're primarily looking for something that delineates the headers and footers of the presentation. The title page can be more robust. Something that grabs the attention of the audience, highlights our logo & company name but still looks clean and professional. The only information we will need to add to the title page is the Title of the Presentation and the Date.
How do you intend to use this presentation (print, live, web, etc.)?
Print, live and web. In most cases the presentations will be used in all three formats. We will often brief the presentation to a live audience and leave printed copies. Also, customers will e-mail copies around.
Style and Details
What specific information must be included in the design?
We would like our company logo and name on the title page. For the content page, we would like the company logo. The designer can determine if he wants to include the company name somewhere on the content pages or just the logo.
What character, tenor or spirit does your presentation need to communicate?
Professionalism. We want a sleek and clean look.
What colors do you want to see in your presentation?
We're open to some different color variations.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your presentation?
Pastels or neon colors. Also, we don't want red to be the primary color.
What presentation designs do you like?
General Electric, Boeing, Raytheon corporate templates.
Do you want to include additional info?
We typically use a lot of images and charts in our presentations so we want the background to be white.
Also, we'd like to leave a lot of room for content (like pictures and design drawings) so don't want the header and footer area to take up too much room. If you view the gridlines on power point, we would prefer that the header and footer design doesn't go too much higher or lower than one box.
