NightFood is company focused on delivering science-based nutritional solutions for better sleep. We create functional food products for health conscious consumers. We will be launching several products which provide various sleep benefits for differnet market segments. Our first product is a delicious nutrition bar for evening/nightime consumption. NightFood bar helps you fall asleep and supports a restful night sleep.

Features, Benefits and Value: The NightFood bar is a natural sleep product which addresses the multiple factors affecting sleep, i.e. stress, metabolism, etc. This is the optimal type of product for those afflicted with sleep disorders. NightFood utilizes some of the latest nutritional and nutraceutical approaches, advanced technologies, and we deliver them in a novel and innovative product form.

The NightFood bar is a delicious nutrition bar formulated to help the consumer fall asleep and provide overnight satiety, while managing blood glucose levels for better quality of sleep. Key bioactive ingredients include melatonin, Chocamine and fiber. The flavor is Cookies & Cream. Ideally suited for those who prefer a late night snack, the NightFood bar provides a sweet treat that delivers active ingredients which aid in the ability to fall asleep. While providing a sense of satiety the bar also helps support regulated glucose levels for a better nights sleep.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

Design concept which can apply across brand product line. The NightFood Bar is a nutritional bar which helps the consumer attain a better nights sleep.

Deliverables Needed: Design and artwork for bar label wrapper and carton tray. Packaging for the bars will be in standard bar/tray format with 15 bars per tray. The bar is approximately 35-40 grams. Exact artwork specifications will be provided prior to final art, but the format is very standard.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Adults 35-54; Professional/managerial; Educated, health-aware, active. The consumer likely has sleep issues or a life stage event which is causing poor sleep. Our target user is more health conscious than a typical pharmaceutical sleep-aid user, and many of them will be evening exercisers; Skewed toward internet savvy consumer.

Additional Information: The NightFood bar will be initially distributed via online retailers and specialty retail stores. The goal is to secure a devoted user base and migrate the product into other distribution channels such as mass market retail stores, TV and radio infomercials and specialty catalogs. It should be assumed that in the future there will be companion products for other sleep related issues or market segments; these may or may not use the NightFood brand name but will have the NightFood company logo.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Tone and Image: While the product is scientifically formulated, we do not want to have a sterile or pharmaceutical type of design. The tone should be contemporary, intelligent and breakthrough (novel), while maintaining authenticity. The brand should be represented as premium, intelligent, respected, but not overly full of itself (no puffery); hence we may wish to include a sophisticatedly playful element.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We will be providing (limited) copy upon initial design concept approval. Please note that FDA requirements for this product include the words DIETARY SUPPLEMENT on th front wrapper, a FDA formatted SUPPLEMENT FACTS panel on the back (we will provide) and an asterik (*) wherever a sleep claim is made in the copy, and a disclaimer note on that same label or panel that is in a box and says *THESE STATEMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN EVALUATED BY THE FOOD & DRUG ADMINISTRATION. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT INTENDED TO DIAGNOSE, TRET, CURE OR PREVENT ANY DISEASE.
