Target Audience

What is your industry?

Describe the target audience for your package graphics

We're an expert in accommodating school trips, associations and sports clubs but are also popular with families and city lovers (couples, friends, solo travelers).

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your package graphics design?

We need a stylish, urban-chic attention getting product design for our bunk bed cover (privacy board)! Feel free to try different structures and even 3D effects.

We are looking for a design with some compelling graphic and visual ideas that will instantly make guests feel welcome when they enter their ho(s)tel room.

The idea behind the cover is to give guests who sleep in bunk beds more privacy. Their heads and feet will be fully covered. The great side effect is that it also hides the metallic look of the bunk bed itself.

Style and Concept

What package graphics design styles do you like?

industrial look, urban, hip, vintage, wooden materials (or concrete)

What colors do you want to see in your package graphics design?

could be anything. our colour code is blue - orange. our style guide is attached

What colors do you NOT want to see in your package graphics design?

lots of red or pink

What adjectives should best describe your package graphics design?

see above

What content must be included in the package graphics design?

I have uploaded the format and logos for you. Please include aohostels.com (without www) you may also use the AO part of our logo or use the whole thing (not like the wooden example you see in the picture). The rest is up to you.

Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?

It would be great if the cover also appeals to a low-budget traveler/family/association or teacher. Please match the logo as best you can, and make note of sources of any images you use in case we want to use them for the final iteration.

This privacy board for bunk beds (and possibly the head piece for double beds - see photo) will be used throughout the whole hostel chain. Only one version can be chosen, so covers with city impressions do not make sense here.

I attached images of our front desk and hotel bar (both part of the lobby) for you - the metallic look may be also be replaced with your design if it's a good fit!
