TSR Adventures Inc. (dba, The SMART Ride)
What do you do?
We produce a 2-day 165 mile bicycle ride from Miami to Key West every year to help raise awareness to the pandemic and to help those affected by the disease to receive the care, medication, medical assistance, housing, psycho social services and more that they need to live a healthy life. Our event is unique in that we guarantee that 100% of the funds raised by the participants goes to 6-7 AIDS Service Organizations in Florida. In the past 9 years we have raised and returned over $4.2 Million dollars. The event is fully supported and we provide everything from meals to overnight housing, support vehicles on the road, rest stops and more.
List the size requirement(s) for your clothing design
I have enclosed a template of the rider jersey that we use to order the jersey's. The Jerseys are ordered in both men's and women's sizes and go from Small to XXL.
What is your industry?
Entertainment and Sports
Describe the target audience for your clothing design
Our audience are participants in the event that look to purchase the jersey and matching shorts (and sometimes gloves) as a badge of honor of something they belong to. They are passionate individuals riding or volunteering to make a difference in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Our purchasers are from 19-78 years of age (some look good in spandex and some don't!). They buy the jersey's also as souvenirs of their accomplishment.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your clothing design?
Fun, accomplishment and strength of spirit and endurance.
Style and Concept
What clothing design styles do you like?
I will attach samples of some of our older designs and ones I have been moved by.
How many colors should be used in the design?
As many as they like, I think the brighter the Jersey the better. WE live in Florida so avoiding dark colors in the heat is a good thing. We usually offer the jersey in sleeved and sleeveless designs. Yellows, bright oranges, cool blues are our favorite, bt open to anything bright. With this season showing lots of almost Fluorescent colors it could be fun if that was incorporated for both the look at the added safety benefit of a bright color on the road
What colors do you want to see in your clothing design?
Sunshine, colors that fade from one to another like bright orange to bright yellow, cool blues, and darker colors only when necessary to distinguish lettering or highlighting purposes.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your clothing design?
Brown, cream, drab, lifeless colors. Black is not a favorite but can be used to outline or punctuate the project.
What adjectives should best describe your clothing design?
Happy, sunshine, movement, success, endurance, power, fun, warmth, love
How will you use the clothing design?
As a rider jersey/shorts
What must be included in the clothing design?
Our SMART Ride logo (several will be enclosed to choose from), About 8 sponsor logo's that need to be there but do not have to dominate the shirt. In fact the more discrete the sponsor logo's the better, traditionally we have put them on sleeves, collars and the back pocket.
Something that shows it's florida and the fact that their is plenty of sun and water on their journey
