1) the name should transport a message / trigger an assiciation. By reading the name consumers should automatically have the feeling that this is THE way to quit smoking. It should be clear that it is about quitting smoking. This is because it is a consumer product.
2) Furthermore it is important that the name is easy to remember. It is a consumer product and people will talk about it. They will see a friend and ask them what this is. It should be easy to remember, because it will be entered into google. B2B products can have other names because they will not come via Google or they just extend the search by another word e.g. Bird (e-scooter)
3) It should be easy to find in Google - A generic name like Bird etc. is hard, because there are no other words that are easy to rank for and that can be remembered (e.h. Bird - e-Scooter). In our case people most likely will hit XYZ e-cigarette. To rank is hard with e-cigarette, so the name itself should be very remarkable.
