What does your company do?
Jewelry store/gallery presenting a broad collection of fine, historical and antique through contemporary jewelry. Our focus is to encourage consumer collecting by representing and explaining unique iconography found in historical/antique jewelry that is tracable through contemporary jewelry, offering spectacular examples of both. For instance, antique mourning jewelry alongside jewelry by contemporary designers with momento mori (skulls and crossbones) representations in their designs. That is an important but dark example.
Another would be the early representations of betrothal rings alongside the current standard of contemporary engagement rings and wedding bands - with an explanation of the evolution between the two.
Our collection is special, a bit left of center and almost all in precious stones and metals. It ranges from $1K - $100K+ in price, with the general majority ranging from $5K - $30K.
Phew, thats not easy to distill!
It is not important that our name represents what we literally offer. It is desirable that our name somehow evoke a relevant sense of mystery, history and other gorgeous otherworldliness that our collection does.
A final note: Our collection has a strong oceanic/maritime aspect to it with anchors, chains, pearls and literally recovered sunken treasure included. Would love to include that aspect in the name provided it was not too limited in what it evokes.
Do you require that a .COM or other URL be available for the new name?
Ideally. Or, some appropriate deritave.
