What do you do?
Do you require that a .COM or other URL be available for the new name?
What is your industry?
Describe your audience
I am writing for the New Adult reader, the category between Young Adult and Adult
What 3 things do you want your product name to communicate to your audience?
Book one of a trilogy is titled, "Rio Street Kid Stargazer". The title isn't pulling. It's a story about a street kid who joins a drug gang in order to care for his twin six-year-old sisters.
List the names of your top three competitor products
Hunger Games Trilogy; Insurgent trilogy; Gone Girl
What character, tenor or spirit do you wish to convey?
Book two is entitled, "Journeyman Drug Lord" Book three is "Dealer of Destinies" I need a title for book one that sends the message that the main character is entering a troubled world to save the sisters he loves...
Are there any words or phrases you like?
I am currently using "Sometimes good people do bad things for a greater good" as a tag line.
Are there specific words or phrases you don't like?
No fancy words. Keep the title to three words or less. Note that there is ALSO a series title. Right now it's the RIO Crime Thriller Series. I don't like that either. I'm not married to the RIO theme, as the Olympics have come and gone, and although the story takes place in RIO, it doesn't have to be in the title. Note: Book One is for sale. We will be re-titling it and re-offering it. Book one needs the right title and SERIES name before we launch book two or three.
