LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

A small studio located in an exclusive neighborhood in Austin, Texas. We provide personal training, pilates, and group training to people from all walks of life with an emphasis on service, value and measurable results.

We integrate functional resistance training, pilates, and traditional fitness techniquesour approach to fitness is holistic in nature and geared towards optimizing health, performance, and fitness. We approach each relationship (with existing and new clients) as a long-term partnershipwe offer the guidance, framework and tools in order for individuals to succeed and maximize their potential.

In an industry where fads, high-turnover, and impersonal meat markets are the normwe set ourselves apart in terms of quality, results, and a long-term approach-- the average client-trainer relationship for us is 15 years.

The two principals have collectively been in the industry for over 30 years.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a new name. We opened our doors in January 2010 and initially chose the name: Austin Functional Training. We soon realized that the name is too long, too vague, and not memorable.

We want a name that is simple, unique, and relevant to who we are, what we do, and our core values. Additionally, we want the name to reflect the metamorphosis that the client undergoes through their training with us; quite simply, they ALWAYS leave their sessions feeling better than they did when they arrived. One of the principals has worked in this part of the city for over 20 years, has established an extensive network and reputation in the area. His name is unique (Kai) and we are open to somehow incorporating this into the name or using it as an acronym, however, THIS IS JUST ONE IDEA and by no means the only direction we want to go in.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our vision is to appeal equally to professionals, executives, retirees, students, elite athletes, housewives, or post-rehab patients basically, people from all walks of life.

While we do have each demographic represented among our clientele, the reality is that our average client is: upper-class, well educated, and between 45-65 years old. The majority of our clients are committed to improving and maintaining their health and fitness for the short and long term. We are one of many personal training studios in the area, however, they come to us because of the high quality of service, training, and positive environment we provide. One of our goals is to have a more diverse demographic (i.e. socioeconomic).
