Business Info

What does your company do?

We are starting an office chair/office furniture company. We will sell quality adjustable and ergonomic seating at an affordable price. We may branch into filing and desks eventually, but it's okay if the name relates to seating or office furniture/the office in general.

Do you require that a .COM or other URL be available for the new name?

I will accept a .com with an acceptable variation on the exact name

Target Audience

What is your industry?

Retailing

Describe your customers

We will be a furniture manufacturer that sells to office furniture dealers all around the US. They will be targeting almost all B2B, from small, entrepreneurial businesses to Fortune 500. These are people who are used to/willing to pay $500-$700 for a really good office chair, and will be excited to pay $300 for similar aesthetics and quality. So it isn't "cheap" or "budget". It's like buying a nice Acura for people who've been paying Mercedes prices. These are people who buy 10 or more chairs at a time, not people who buy 1 chair for a home office.

What 3 things do you want your company name to communicate to your customers?

We sell office chairs and/or furniture
We're easy to work with/simple process
We sell quality products

Style and Concept

What character, tenor, or spirit do you wish to convey?

Somewhere between serious and comical. What I mean is that it can be friendly, humorous, fun, modern, but not off color, a total joke or something like that. It also doesn't have to be super serious, suit and tie kinda feel. SitOnIt references Happy Days and the Fonz and we like that friendly/fun/says what we do name.

Other idea: We've also thought about giving a theme to our product names. Example: Name chairs 1, 2 and 3, The Sahara Chair, The Amsterdam Chair and The Shanghai Chair while naming the company "Atlas Seating". That sort of thing. Open to ideas.

Are there specific words or phrases you do not like?

Not that we can think of at the moment. We're open to ideas.

Are there specific words or phrases you like?

Not specific no. Again, we want to allow for some out of the box thinking.

Do you have other info you want to share?

I've attached a couple samples of our chairs in the attachments section.
