Denali & Co.
What do you do?
I am a small publishing company. I am currently working on the publication of a manuscript on eating disorders.
Do you require that a .COM or other URL be available for the new name?
What is your industry?
Publishing and Media
Describe your audience
I envision my audience being women between the ages of 16 and 45.
What 3 things do you want your product name to communicate to your audience?
The primary goal is to communicate that the book is about an eating disorder and recovery.
List the names of your top three competitor products
There are countless books on eating disorders that have bee published throughout the years.
What character, tenor or spirit do you wish to convey?
The design of the book itself will be set up like a journal/diary so the title certainly could tie into that theme.
Are there any words or phrases you like?
I want a catchy title for the book that will grab the readers attention. I am not opposed to plays on words (ex Walking a Thin Line.) The title could involve words that you might normally associate with weight loss (ex scale, loss, thin, etc). Since the book itself will be set up much like a diary, that could also be a potential angle for the title/tag line. (diary of, journal of, etc).
Are there specific words or phrases you don't like?
I'd like to avoid anything that suggests an eating disorder as a positive experience. (titles that suggest that losing weight solved problems. For example, "Losing the Weight without Losing Myself" would suggest the weight loss (and the way I did it) was a good thing.
Do you want to include additional info?
To be clear, the book chronicles my journal through my eating disorder, treatment program, and ultimate recovery. The book is an intimate look at my mindset while I was in my disorder as well as the transformation as I went through treatment and came through on the other side.
