What does your company do?
Also We are highly selective on both the clients we choose and the partners we bring to the table. The right fit is critical to our joint success.
We're not just an ordinary "staff augmentation" type firm - we only accept roles that are the right fit and we only bring in consultants through our "tree of trust" - i.e. people that we know and have worked with in the past.
Do you require that a .COM or other URL be available for the new name?
I will accept a .com with an acceptable variation on the exact name
What is your industry?
Consulting and Professional Services
Describe your customers
Target clients are in the Utility, Healthcare IT, Telecommunications and Financial Services industries. Most commonly, we would work with them to deliver large enterprise transformational programs. Our team members would be the program/project leads, senior analysts, organizational change managers and overall guides who can help show our clients the path towards success and ensure that they travel it from start to finish.
As we are a minority business enterprise (MBE) and women owned business enterprise (WBE) with a tremendous network of talent, we also help our customers fulfill their diversity spend objectives.
What 3 things do you want your company name to communicate to your customers?
Seasoned Leadership / Guidance
Spirit of Partnering
Style and Concept
What character, tenor, or spirit do you wish to convey?
1) We're partners - within our firm and between our firm and customers.
2) We don't just tell people which way to go, we show them and guide them along the path from start to finish.
3) When we complete an engagement, our customers will be able to operate completely independently, but they'll like our service enough to hire us again and again in the future.
4) We want to convey a sense of trust, integrity, honesty and transparency.

Are there specific words or phrases you do not like?
Are there specific words or phrases you like?
We like the idea of 'Pharos' - the ancient lighthouse in Alexandria, Egypt that was a wonder of the ancient world and guided travelers for many miles around to a safe harbor. Concepts like "beacon", "lighting the way", "traveling", "guidance", "navigation", "bold journeys". We also like the concept of "partners".
Do you have other info you want to share?
We're starting out as a Kansas City based consulting firm. Initial client targets are in KC metro area (both Missouri & Kansas). Future growth will likely target other "middle" US cities such as Chicago and Dallas in addition to locations closer to home such as Omaha, St. Louis, Wichita, Oklahoma City, etc.
KC based naming ideas are OK, but we'd like to be flexible.
