I played for a while with a few names - Bessie's drawers (jewellers have lots of drawers - for small tools and components and to store work and products - often with a glass lid in each drawer and work displayed in the drawer). Bessie was my great grandmother and I like the double-entendre of 'drawers' - but this is a bit limiting because I hope the studios will house other jewellers too someday.
The studios are on the corner of First Street and West Street so these names might suggest some options.
I like words like adorn, atelier, studio. Also embassy, palace...!
I dislike the word bespoke. And I am not really interested in a spirit of olde-worlde or nostalgie or romance.

I just spent the summer fitting out the new studio - it has its own access but is part of our sprawling 1867 former schoolhouse/chapel. It's in a funky, inner-city area with an industrial history and a long and vibrant history as a place for artists of all kinds. I am hoping to have open studios - by apointment, regular opening times and special open days and small exhibitions.
I'm an emerging artist and have degrees (2) in jewellery and silversmithing, as well as drawing. This is going to be my year to move from studying into production, marketing and exhibiting, hopefully gathering a few like-minded colleagues along the way.
The name of the studio/practice will be used as the basis for all marketing and communications - website, stationery, submissions to galleries and retailers, exhibition invitations, business cards - etc!
I am in the process of organising professional photos but can provide some amateur ones of my work and the studio if requested.
