We are creating simple and elegant wearable devices, starting with bracelets, that will vibrate at selected intervals throughout the day serving as a gentle reminder to pause, take a deep breath or two, become aware of the present moment, and to then choose a next action that is aligned with what we really desire at a deeper level. It's the opposite of an Apple Watch. We may choose to spend a moment in gratitude, to connect within and to ourselves or even to connect with others by sharing some appreciation. We may choose to think a positive thought, imagine a desired outcome, or do something helpful for another. Whatever we choose the real point is that we are choosing it with intention and purpose. We don't want to feel like we are run by our devices, notifications and marketing campaigns.
Our audience understand on some level that we are all living inside of an economic machine that is designed to keep us distracted and disconnected from what is really important and meaningful to us. The machine spends billions yearly on sexy and alluring marketing campaigns to hijack our attention into its addictive apps and substances, its binge-worthy shows, its clothes and products and cars that promise to make us happy but in reality only keep us endlessly consuming empty promises, all the while feeling more and more anxious, empty and alone. Our people know on a deep level that what we really need and desire is authentic presence and connection rather than constant distraction, and real creativity and aligned actions rather than constant consumption.
Rather than sharing a specific demographic, our audience share a desire for wellness and are regular consumers in the wellness economy. They are interested in mindfulness and meditation, mental and physical health, healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices. They may be experienceing and seeking relief from anxiety, stress, and being overwhelmed. They may have some awareness of the "distraction economy" but all are aware that they want less technology in their lives, they want fewer apps and screens and fewer distractions. Our audience are college grads, they are professionals, they are intelligent or think of themselves as intelligent, they travel internationally, they are successful and many have found that despite achieving material success they are lacking a sense of meaning and deeper wellness so they are looking for that. They are located in and around more liberal cities, they know that climate change is real. Diverse occupations, lifestyles and industries but similar values of conscientious actions, awareness of sustainability.

I don't think we're going for funny but lighthearted could work. Not too far into spiritual or new agey.
We are moving people away from mindless distraction, checking out through substances and vices, chasing meaning and happiness through the acquisition of material possesions, anxiety, isolation and depression and towards present moment awareness, connection to self and others, intentional and aligned choices, calm, ease, and creative and meaningful contributions. We want to speak to people on a friendly and conversational level. We want it to feel accessible.
