What does your company do?

We are a boutique retailer company selling high end watches, such as Cartier, IWC, Ulysse Nardin and Franck Muller in two of Istanbuls(Turkey) finest shopping malls. We operate our stores under the name ARTE GIOIA. We are now in the process of introducing diamond intensive, modern and creative jewelry into our upscale product mix. We will be designing and producing our own products while also accommodating some well known jewelry brands (Pomellato, Georland, Messika) in our stores. Our challenge is to find a suitable brand name for our jewelry line that would sit well with such luxurious brands.

Do you require that a .COM or other URL be available for the new name?

Yes, we will require a domain for the brand name, preferably .com but we also have the opportunity to go .com.tr locally. Also if the name really excites us we could add a jewelry suffix to the end of the name to get a .....jewelry.com domain.

What is your industry?

High end jewelry, watches and accessories.

Describe your customers

Women aged between 25-60 buying for themselves and Men of similar/higher age group buying for their significant others as gift. Customers with high level incomes, accustomed to very high levels of service and products who are buying for the first time(engagement), returning to upgrade their previous purchase or simply adding a new piece to their collection. Mostly local, but international tourist customers from China, Russia and Azerbaycan are also growing in number.

Reasonable luxury! Modern, yet rooted. Simple, yet elegant.

Are there any words or phrases you especially like or hate?

We are interested in a name with weight! A name that is elegant, refined and professional. It could be a made up name, preferably using french, italian or english as its root. Most importantly a name that could easily be pronounced as written and one that would have a story behind it.

Do you have other info you want to share?

www.artegioia.com our website will give you an idea of our stores, products and concept. While brands such as Garrard, Fred, Graff and Harry Winston could be used to get a feel for what we aspire to be. Our brand name needs to draw its energy from the city it will come out of: Istanbul!

The name is the beginning and maybe the most important part of our new brand, it needs to feel right, it needs to excite and enthuse the whole team. We are counting on you! Be creative!
