About Your Company
We are creating a food and beverage brand that can flex into multiple domains, including cookbooks, seasonings, prepared foods, and cocktails ingredients. We draw on three elements of our identity and heritage: one of us is Colombian, one Danish, and together we share the traditions and resources of our home in the Pacific Northwest. We honor our family traditions in the present day, providing guests with ways to bring warmth and a sense of home and of place into hectic modern lives.
Upper income, sophisticated households with an interest in food and drink trends. Goes to farmers' markets, farm tours, and wineries to find local, authentic products. Knowledgeable about food, wine, and spirits, looking for ways to elevate entertaining and create family traditions. Food and family are important, and go together. It could be the Junction City Scandinavian Festival or a boutique distillery, a local cattle breeder or a prestigious winery - they celebrate place with authenticity and warmth.

Clever and sophisticated, but not cute or folksy.
Comfortable and authentic - the Danish idea of hygge. Family - we are uncles and put our family of four nieces and two nephews at the center of our experience. We want to bring our cultural heritage to this next generation, while making it modern and accessible.

Comfort. Authentic. Global-Local (glocavore?)
The "two uncles" idea is central to our concept. This is who we are. In Spanish, this is "dos tíos," in Danish, "to onkler." And then this is located in our home and context of the Pacific Northwest. We aren't sure where we will go - could be a single cookbook, could be multiple product lines. We want to focus on our identity in a way that can move in multiple markets.
