What does your company do?

We are launching a high end health care facility focusing on obstetrics - the delivery of babies. We are designing our facility and training our people to position ourselves as a consumer oriented place (where people are very comfortable to visit, like Starbucks or a hotel) as opposed to the dull or scary hospital experience. In short, our pitch is that, if you want to have a baby, why should you go to a place full of sickness and sadness like a hospital? It is an event to be celebrated and the customer must have a great experience. We will have the best doctors, nurses, and health care infrastructure in our facility, however, we will be unlike hospitals and provide a great experience to our customers. We are also small by design - we will have a maximum of 25 mothers to be in our place at any given point so that we can give them the attention that they require. To this end, we will be a high end / premium / luxury facility. The facility is located in Hyderabad, India.

Our target consumers are pregnant women, mainly in the age group of 20 to 40 years. Their husbands, parents and friends play a key role in influencing their decision regarding where to have the baby.

Our customers are located in Hyderabad, India. They are affluent or well to do (upper middle class, rich or ultra rich). They could be well educated professionals or be a part of a successful business or political family. They would definitely be exposed to a high end lifestyle or lead a lifestyle of conspicuous consumption.

Most important fact is that our customers are at a very important point in their life - they are going to have a child. We want to make sure that they have a very comfortable and hassle-free experience by taking care of them at every step and making sure that they enjoy or celebrate the event.

The three things that we want our company name to communicate to our customers are:
1. Birth
2. Luxury / Comfort / Premium / High End
3. Celebration / Happiness / Joy

We believe that we are very different from the rest of the market in terms of our focus on the customer. We will make sure that the mother to be and her family have a very unhospital-like experience in terms of the comfort they will have in our place and the attention that they are going to get while they are with us - clinical and otherwise. We think that we are taking the best parts of a luxury hotel, a great hospital and a home to make our facility a great place to deliver a baby.
