This is a handheld ipad that is loaded with a self storage software that allows the manager to be able to do their tasks from anywhere. They could take the ipad to a college campus for an event and rent units on the spot. They could take the unit with them when someone comes to check out a unit to see what units are available and rent to the customer on the spot. Normally a rental process takes 15 minutes and a lot of printed paper work. Using the handheld ipad it is cut down to 2 minutes and no paper needs to be printed for the lease or signature. They can also use the handheld device to do their unit and property checks, taking notes as they go, eliminating a paper and pencil with clipboard.
