What do you do?
We are corporate pilots by trade and out to solve one of our most commom problems when flying, turbulence. With the recent proliferation of internet availability and use of mobile devices in jet aircraft, our company is developing simple yet highly functional mobile apps that allow pilots to interact in a new more efficient manner. Early releases of our software will focus on sharing turbulence information in real-time. Over time, we may enable other information to be shared as well. This information will be collected via automated and manual capture methods on the mobile device.

What is your industry?
Describe your audience
This product will initially target airline and business jet pilots by providing a source of information that is more accurate and easily interpreted than what is currently available. In the future this app will allow business jet travelers and other passengers to contribute what their "ride" conditions are and possibly influnce pilots into finding a better ride due to a crowdsourcing conclusion to where the best altitude is at a given time.
What 3 things do you want your product name to communicate to your audience?
Attention grabbing and sexy is always good, while still maintaining a mobile app image that is professional and provides trustworthy, accurate information sharing amongst pilots and passengers. Our current place holder is iFindTheRide. While this name is descriptive of what the user attempts to do when using the app, we would like to find a name that is simple and clean yet still conveys the functionality. The idea being that they get a sense of empowerment by making a contibution or "ride report" to the community.

Good phrases and or terms used between pilots and air traffic control: smooth ride, hows the ride, ride report, roger, mostly smooth, light chop, fly-by-wire, wingman.
Do you want to include additional info?
Our app asks users to submit ride reports for their current flying conditions. So the perfect app name would also have a verb associated with it such as how "twitter" users " tweet".
