LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Proventix is a technology company whose mission is to eliminate the unnecessary human and economic costs of infectious diseases in the healthcare and hospitality industries. We provide tools and services for quality monitoring, active point of care communication and successful behavior modification.

Hand hygiene is the best way to prevent the spread of infections, but hospitals have a difficult time monitoring worker compliance. This is the starting point for the system we have developed. We feel communication/reward is the key to engage and compel staff to wash hands.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a name for our compliance monitoring system. It will be the name of the overall system which includes compliance monitoring using Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID)/touchless sensors, data collection/use via a software component, and a communication infrastructure that provides three types of messages to the worker: professional (hospital-wide reminders), patient-related (connected to a device that monitors patient vital signs) and personal (user-selected content that could include select RSS feeds for news, sports, or other topics of interest). Workers see a communication screen while washing hands (see photos included).

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Hospitals, healthcare workers (physicians, nurses, other hospital staff)

We want them to feel that this system is a helpful reminder to wash hands by providing positive rewards for compliance. We must avoid the "Big Brother" feel evoked by monitoring systems.

WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:

We want a brand with prestige like BMW but with a corporate attitude/culture like Google. We want to be the Klennex of wireless communication and quality monitoring.
