We are a young, urban, hip company operating in Southern California. Under the Ra Essentials umbrella we will offer a diverse line of products targeting the outdoor sun enthusiast as well as the indoor tanning enthusiast. Our products will be unisexual and may also apply to children. Our products mirror our philosophy that the mind, body and soul are intrinsically linked. We need a logo design that reflects this belief. We like simple, clean and powerful designs. Our clients may see us at the finest hotels, spas and salons. This logo may be visible on bath and body products as well as clothing. As you know, Ra is the Greek god of sun. But, dont let this guide your design. We do not want to be limited to this definition. Ra Essentials will be a company synonimous with life, beauty and agelessness.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo that defines who we are and where we are going. We like the idea of "mind, body and soul." Logo should be simple and clean and not ornate. It must apply to both sexes and even children. Less is best.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Initially it will be the successful, young (18 to 35), urban woman. She is active, athletic and beautiful. Her body and mind define who she is. Her Ra Essential products compliment her lifestyle.
However, it will also be the young (18 to 35), urban man. He is also active, athletic and on the go. Ra Essentials provides a line of products specifically designed for him.
Lastly, the children. Their sensitive skin needs protection and Ra Essentials will have a solution.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We like clean, powerful and simple. Less is best. See Dean and Deluca, "Wen" by Chaz Dean or "her" energy drink.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Do not make the "R" in "RA" part of the "E" in essentials. In other words, do not just superimpose the two letters atop of one another. We may, possibly, seperate the Ra from Essentials from time to time. Remember that the client is mainly an adult so nothing that looks puffy or animated. Letters may be either lower case or upper or both. Use your imagination. We prefer solid colors or two or three solid colors. No rainbows. Ra Essentials is in development and no website, logo or image exists.
