LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
wynkt is a mobile phone software application developer, our products help people connect
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
a logo. mostly a treatment of the word wynkt. (pronounced winked).
we have worked with agencies in the past, but might need help with technical terms. for final delivery we want a file with versions in black and white, greyscale, four color and each of them with white, black and transparent backgrounds. (maybe just the transparent is enough?) also hi and lo res i suppose.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
pretty broad range. cell phone users. social networking participants.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
we like simplicity of twitter, yahoo, for instance. like google logo primary color treatment, reflective light...
looks: playful, fun, clean, happy, simple
conveys: solid, smart, reliable, dependable
we have played with familiar fonts in powerpoint, and like the looks of cooper black (old font in win 2000) because it conveys some of the look/feel above. it is playful but also solid because there is a bit of serif but the letters are thick. in lower case, the bottom of the y is fun.
we like all lower case because it connotes fun consumer brand and web 2.0
we like all caps as well but had difficulty making it playful
if all caps perhaps the lettering could bounce (yahoo)
we would consider a subtle iconography such as a glow, spot of light, ping... which implies connection, reaching out... but must work as simple text (see below)
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
real simple and clean so can reduce to toolbar, small cell phone screen... should not have more than four colors... we intend to provide feedback during the submission process... i hope this is enough of a box to start with...
