We like both text and image-based logos.
What we like and why:
Pantybypost.com - logo, fonts used, testimonials page (postage stamps, logo stamp), gallery page with scrapbook-like element
Skinnygirlcocktails.com - logo, fonts used
Birchbox.com - logo, packaging
Glossybox.com - packaging, sketching technique
Nordstrom marketing
Apple.com - clean lines, white/purity
Audrey Hepburn quote: "Happy girls are the prettiest girls"
Anne Lamott quote: "Joy is the best makeup"
Unknown quote: "If you can heal a woman, you can heal the world"
What we don't like:

Generic looking stuff (like amazingclubs.com)
Black or dark backgrounds on websites

Goals:
We want to be an encouragement and inspiration to women
We want to be "green"
Made in the USA
Provide natural and safe products
Donate a portion of proceeds to a yet to be determined non-profit
We like vibrant, fresh colors such as hot pink, lime green, yellow, and tangerine but not all at once.
We like the idea of old-fashioned telegrams with retro (50s era of classic beauties such as Audrey Hepburn, Jackie O, Sophia Lauren, etc.) yet modern looks and feels since the products will be shipped via mail on a monthly basis. However, we do not want the logo to look like a telegram (e.g., no airplanes, no wings, no newsprint fonts, etc.).
