Business Info

Business Name

CrushWire

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

CrushWire

Target Audience

What is your industry?

Target audience = Wine Consumers. An App that will provide the ability to provide info. (including personal ratings), and to learn about wines you may be interested in (based on your personal information/input to the platform).

Describe the target audience for your logo

Wine enthusiasts, of varying income/age/etc. demographics. While generally expected to be "working professionals" (and well educated), we expect that we will attract "all types." Both male & female, but presumably to be comprised of 60+% female. Generally, not expected to be the stereotypically "stodgy" type of wine drinkers. Rather, a more laid back, social, and unassuming type.

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

Fun. Simple. Insightful. Clarity. OK, since I broke the rule of 3, I will continue... We want to communicate something that is very intuitive, providing very clear info. Insomuch as a logo can portray this, the concept of an "ah ha" moment; being pleasantly surprised by learning of something from using the product. On the opposite end, we do NOT (repeat, do NOT...) want to communicate a stodgy, unremarkable image such as: www.wineenthusiast.com or www.wineweb.com

Style and Concept

What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

I guess we're open. We trust in your professional experience/opinion; but especially in giving consideration to the info. provided in other questions. That said, we generally like clean & simple, but perhaps with aspects of bubbly & fun. Some example logos that generally appeal to us are: CrowdSPRING's logo themselves, www.foodbuzz.com, www.alfresco.com, www.shutterfly.com, www.smule.com, www.kissmetrics.com, www.ning.com, www.bitbop.com, www.livecomplete.com

What colors do you want to see in your logo?

No particular preference. But being "wine" category, probably looking for "stronger"/deeper/bolder colors (vs. something like pastels).

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?

Again, NOT "weaker" or pastel colors; NOR such colors as light yellow, pink, etc.

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

Versatile set of uses -- Website & Mobile App primarily; but will also need (less so) for stationery, logo gear (clothing), etc.

Do you have other info or links you want to share?

As mentioned above, looking to have a clean (but perhaps slightly fun/playful) logo portraying an easy-to-use, intuitive system for discovering/learning about wine. From a "font" (and otherwise) perspective, it must portray a "Web 2.0" (or, is it fair to say we're now at "Web 3.x"??) feel to it.
