I am looking for a logo for my company Well Rounded Mama. We provide a menu of natural birth services (doulas, childbirth education, placenta encapsulation, breastfeeding support and education, etc.) to mothers during their pregnancy and post-partum period.
My client demographic is female, in her 30's, well educated, progressive, upper middle class, very interested in topics such as natural living, health, yoga, sustainability, parenting, environmentalism, etc.
The name of my company is a play on both the roundness of a delicious pregnant belly, as well on the idea that it is our mission to support mamas in blossoming into well rounded and informed women that take an active and empowered interest in creating the birth experience that they want.
My own personal design tastes lean to clean, modern, and organic (as in deriving from nature, not pesticide free foods). I like bright engaging colors but also love earth tones. I like feminine but not particularly girly or cutsey.
While most applications of my logo will accommodate full color I would very much like it to also be reproducible in single color. Ideally, I would like the logo to convey warmth, trust, and softness while still feeling very professional.
I am open to just a creative word mark or anything else, really. Imagery that I am open to includes--but is not limited to--flowers, plants, roots, seeds, lotus, fruit, nests, eggs. Things that reference roundness, growth, life, newness, femininity, strength.
Two requirements are I need it to be:
1. Reproducible in single and full color
2. Scalable from tiny to large
Also, I am not a fan of the imagery of hearts, or the silhouette of a pregnant belly and breast (like in a shape of a "B") it is *everywhere* and way over used in my line of work. Pretty much anything else and I am fine.
