What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
For starters, we are a girl duo photography team who shoots mainly weddings, babies and families. Our target audience is women, so we're not afraid of the logo looking too girly. We are going for a vintage anthropology type of look, mixed with a sort of preppy jcrew vibe.
This is what our current logo and overall look and feel of our website looks like: http://vitalicphoto.com
We like the logo, but we feel like it could be so much more. Our style is kind of a mix of modern and vintage and we like the font to have a whimsical look to it, but still be legible since "Vitalic" is a weird word. I think we're looking for a bit more of a custom/creative type face, instead of just a standard font like we currently are using. Also we like the flowers, but it is a bit too detailed when we try to scale it down for watermark purposes, which you can view here: http://vitalicblog.com/blog/wp-content/u.... So maybe something floral like we have would be nice, but a little less busy. We have been using a frame around the logo, but it's not required to have a frame, it can be free standing.
We currently have a slogan on the main home page, but we've started to phase it out. If you think it needs a slogan to balance it out, feel free to put some fake text in its place and we'll try to thinking of something.
If a standard font is used (or modified) to make the logo, we would most likely want to know which one it is, so that we can purchase it to use on other parts of the site as well.
As of right now, our colors are generally pink, light gray, white - we might be mixing in some aqua down the line.
Here is some inspiration we like:
We love the feel of this logo: http://www.jeannahayes.com/blog/ but it is a little too spaced out. She uses the same font in other parts of the site and its very whirly which we like. However, we're also not opposed to a non script font if it works out better in the design, we're definitely open to your interpretation and would enjoy seeing a mix of ideas.
Colors, Look & feel, type of this one - more fun.
Simple and cute, colors are the same as us:
Look & feel of site, not so much the logo though:
Overall, we're just looking for some creative ideas, and we hope it's a fun project!
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
We want it to look fun, cute and stylish.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
We prefer image + text, but one that would also look good with just text (for watermark purposes)
