Quick over view: We are a website that will enable people to track just about anything that they want. Users will get super cool graphs and be able to compare their consumption to others, set goals, and overall consume less, live more sustainable lives, and save some money. Think of use as the weight watchers of consumption.
Wesumer (pronounced wee-soomer) is a community of mindful consumers and consumption trackers called wesumers. Were part cheapskate, part conservationist, and part chart junkie. Our goal is to build consumption awareness and encourage people to use less stuff -- everything from gas and electricity to packaging, plastic bags, and paper towels.
Wesumers know that small changes in our consumer habits can collectively make a big difference on our wallets and on our planet.
Reducing electricity usage can save you money on your electric bill and reduce the amount of toxic mercury that is released into the environment, for example. Many grocery stores give customers credit for each bag they bring, so bringing your own bags to the store can save you money, lower the amount of paper and plastic that ends up in our landfills, and reduce the fuel and pollution generated from manufacturing and shipping bags.
